About Cat Year Day

Cat Year Day is the special day when you and your cat are the same age. Because cats age differently than humans, there's only ONE day in both of your entire lives when your ages perfectly align.

This calculation uses a simple 4:1 ratio that assumes cats age at 4 human years per 1 cat year. In fact, according to modern research, cats age rapidly in their first two years and then more slowly afterward.
